Abstract

The results of the analysis.  In the article the definitions of «transport logistics» of Ukrainian and foreign authors are considered. As a result the authors’ determination of «transport logistics» conception is offered. The transport logistics content includes transport service of flows and the assignment of transportation and logistics services. Today important is the quality of transport services of goods owners, which is formed in the first place at the regional level. Commodity flows that move through the territory of region are provided by the export, import, transit and internal flows. In Zaporizhzhia region these flows are served by all modes of transport. The statistical analysis showed that during the last years most of the goods transportation volumes in the Zaporizhzhia region fall on the automobile and rail transport. Export trade flows are presented, in the first place, by the metal products and engineering products. Import trade flows are presented by the mineral products, machinery and metal products. Export volumes exceed import volumes. The improving service of commodity flows passing through the territory of region is possible thanks to the development of transport logistics. For this in the article the elements and directions of transport logistics development are determined. Special attention is paid to the development of transport and logistical infrastructure, in particular, to the creating of transport and logistical center (TLC) or their network in the region. Statistical data analysis confirmed that the transport infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia region has the reserves of traffic and freight capacity. Transport and logistical centers can be created within the transport corridors and transport hubs to streamline and maintain the movement of commodity flows within the region. TLC in the region in addition to traditional transportation and distribution services must implement the functions of analytical, commercial and business centre with a wide range of attendant services. When creating the regional TLC the interests of all participants in the transport market, each of which has its own interests in this project, must be taken into account. The major participants are state authorities, enterprises of the transport and warehouse complex, financial sector enterprises, logistics intermediaries, consumers of transport services, the local community. Each TLC can be classified by three parameters: the type of vehicles that are serviced; the type of the cargo; the area of territorial coverage. Through identification of the leading modes of transport in Zaporizhzhia region, in the first place, the establishment of a rail and automobile logistical center is proposed with the subsequent organization of sea TLC on the basis of Berdyansk Sea Trade Port, river TLC on the basis of Zaporizhzhia river port and air TLC on the basis of the Zaporizhzhia airport, which will be united by a single system of service the commodity flows. Conclusions and directions of further researches. Consequently, the development of transport logistics at the regional level requires an integrated approach according to determining elements and directions for more qualitative service of commodity flows. The development of transport and logistics infrastructure deserves special attention, in particular the establishment of TLC in the region or their network based on the public-private partnership with attraction of budgetary funds and capital of business structures. A subject for further researches would be consideration of other components of the transport logistics.
