Abstract The aim of the article. To provide theoretical and methodological basis of the development of new tendencies and features of development of companies in digital epoch. The results of the analysis. The initial thesis of the article is the analysis of main tendencies of leading companies’ development in the period of digital technologies emergence, that is a key to the understanding of the direction, traditional business should be transformed in. Nowadays for learning new concepts, strategies, methods that are annually put forward in the world today people spend much time and money in the field of corporate and individual education. However, the target audience of business literature often turns out devoid of understanding, what is actually behind the appeals to change the company management model. This article shows that knowledge of methodological basis for the analysis of the transformation processes in the digital epoch will allow to form a view of why these changes are occurring. The acquisition of theoretical knowledge concerning this process, in turn, will cause the adoption of reasonable managerial decisions, based on a deep understanding of the nature of ongoing transformations. By using the istrument of dialectical logic the author explains the appearance of elements of a new organic integrity development, which develops in depths of the system of economic relations. In the current practice this is manifested in new conditions and the nature of the joint activities of people. Their development is largely stipulated by the further process of socialization of production on the basis of digital technologies. It was formed the following relationship: nowadays the level of public communication in the process of production, distribution, exchange and consumption of goods directly depends on the usage of technologies for work with information. The work contains the concretization of the hypothesis, according to which nowadays in the digital epoch a new relational system is forming, in this system a central place is occupied by a human and his intellectual capacity. It is shown that information is the element from which a new historical type of organic matter unfolds. The logic is the following: while the development of the system of interindustrial and interpersonal relationships in the digital epoch, the information is converted into knowledge and knowledge is transformed into the competence. In turn, the competence is not just knowledge and skills of the person or company, it is an integrating category. It captures the essence of a new type of organic matter, which arises in the present system of economic relations. The study of activities of the leading subjects of global economic transformation shows that the availability of information, which increases as far as digital technologies are rapidly spreading, highlights knowledge and abilities. They become the most important sources of company operating performance in rapidly changing conditions. As the current practice shows, people get necessary competences from interacting with the nature and other people using new digital platform for the information exchange. The development of such interaction platforms, new ways of people coordination and associated creation of values nowadays can be singled out in a separate period, which is covered by the digital epoch. Conclusions and directions of further researches. Further analysis should be directed to the world’s leading companies, which are directly related to the information, its transmission, storage, protection, generation, accumulation and management. These companies that are engaged in information and communication technologies are the transitional forms in which the current system of economic relations is beyond the limits, colliding with the system “man-intelligence”. Among the promising directions scientific and theoretical understanding are required by the issues concerning the transition to open models of company management that conform an information and network form of interaction. This work presents the fragment of the cloud of key directions that are developing in various forms in relation to employees, customers, partners, competitors, and others (by means of the formation of cooperative relations in the process of innovations formation, in the organization of production, marketing, training, investment, insurance etc.).
