Abstract The article presents approaches to the organization of labor in productions with a large number of dissimilar operations (eg, tool production). The major difficulty in assessing the results of such workers is the lack of standard, so measured and rated operations. There is shown the analysis of basic motivational factors of hourly and piece-rate pay systems for such productions. In the article there is developed the procedure for organizing the evaluation and pay system of workers according to individual productivity.
