Abstract The successful development of any society and, in particular, every single enterprise is possible when it matches the human activities with the modern values, not a new by the same feature or definition of value, but as actualization and capabilities in practical implementation. In this regard, the necessity to consider the category of “value” in the context of the management system is considered in this article. So, the proposed article is an attempt to widen the field of research towards more active involvement of specific categories, which considered as the values, in management theoretical apparatus. At the same time, the article highlights the problematic field of implementation the new values in social life and theoretical aspects of their transformation into management category. In the list of current values the emphasis is made on a values of social and spiritual nature, which indicates that not only spread of socio-humanistic paradigm of management is taking place, but also about positive human personality values development dynamics. Among the new ones we are allocating following values: confidence and trust, harmony, freedom, creativity, family, culture, quality. In the system of management values has a special role, since they have their special meaning functions, in particular motivational, ideological, orientation and controlling. The new values are objective reality, but they can acquire a subjective nature because of the different human perceptions and attitudes, which, as follows, will determine their behavior. The proposed values have mostly orientation effect (freedom, creativity) materializing in management, reflecting the socio-psychological, axiological, organizational and economic aspects. At the same time this is the values that have integral character, combining the material and spiritual component. The principles of management depend on values. Motivational policies, personnel development policies, HR management methods, behavioral aspects of personnel, leadership abilities and teamwork are also based on values. The real mechanism for implementing values in the system of management is organizational culture, the cores of which are values. Proposed in this article conceptual approach of the value usage in the managerial practice leads us to the following conclusions: – the values should be used as a specific managerial tool that is especially effective in terms of total crisis; – their transformation into category of management can be performed through the mechanism of organizational culture; – the objective necessity of implementing significantly other values into the system of management will promote creation of a special institution, which will present economic and social, spiritual and cultural components that will ensure efficient flow of transformation processes and improve the use of human potential; – based on new values, we can lay the foundation for a new school of ethical, socially-oriented management for building spiritual community. In the article we have pointed out the need for strengthening an applied nature of the research subject, i.e., further researches should be directed towards making real mechanism of transformation of new values into management categories, to use them as an instruments of management in order to increase efficiency at all levels and build a new model of management.
